Product comparison website Finder released a report interviewing 42 financial technology (fintech) specialists and the group’s average forecast was that they believe the crypto asset Litecoin will be worth more than $ 200 by the end of 2021 In 2011, Charlie Lee has traded for the past three days between $ 175 and $ 187.
The average prediction of 42 fintech specialists says Litecoin will hit $ 266 by the end of 2021
Lately, Bitcoin.com News has been reporting on surveys by finder.com about predictions for the price of Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH) and Dogecoin (DOGE). For example, Finder’s panels of experts estimate that DOGE prices will reach $ 1.21 by 2025 and $ 3.60 by 2030. Additionally, another panel report from finder.com shows that experts believe the value of ether will reach $ 45,000 this year and $ 18,000 by 2025. The Finder Panel of 42 fintech candidates discussing Litecoin (LTC) shows that most panelists agree that LTC will be worth $ 266 by the end of the year.
However, since the rise of a number of different crypto assets, LTC has lost its place in the top ten market cap positions. The crypto asset has been a top ten contender for at least a decade but has recently been pushed down by competitors. Today, LTC ranks 14th in terms of market cap with a market cap of $ 12.53 billion. Finder’s panelists don’t believe Litecoin can make it back into the top ten, and 76% of fintech experts believe it won’t.
The Finder Panel that discussed Litecoin (LTC) predictions included Sagi Bakshi, Coinmama CEO, Joseph Raczynksi, Thomson Reuters technologist, and University of East London Senior Lecturer, Dr. Iwa salami. 81% of the finder.com panelists say that Litecoin is becoming less relevant. However, one person was much more optimistic about LTC than the rest of the panel, telling Finder that his predictions were “$ 900, $ 3,000, and $ 6,000” for each year.
A third of the panelists believe Charlie Lee’s Litecoin sale tarnished the coin’s image
John Hawkins, senior lecturer at the University of Canberra, gave Finder the lowest price prediction for LTC, and his prediction is about $ 80 per unit. “Litecoin now has little media profile and does not seem to offer any advantage over Bitcoin,” emphasized Hawkins. Allnodes CEO Konstantin Boyko-Romanovsky said LTC will be $ 180 by the end of the year and will be worth more than $ 300 by 2025.
“The price of Litecoin doesn’t always seem to correlate with the price of Bitcoin, which is very interesting to watch. However, it makes it even more difficult to predict the price of LTC 10 years from now, ”said the Allnodes manager.
15% of the Finder panelists believe that LTC can get back into the top ten by the end of the year. A third of the entire group said Charlie Lee’s LTC sale “tarnished Litecoin’s reputation.” Still, some believe LTC has brand awareness and Trade the Chain co-founder Ryan Gorman is optimistic.
“People new to this space will continue to trade Litecoin as it is always one of the first crypto assets to be added to new ramps like PayPal, Venmo, etc. This built-in support should help it keep adding value, although most of the time it is irrelevant, ”noted Gorman.
