The data shows that non-fungible tokens (NFT) continue to break record sales week after week as statistics show that over $ 1 billion in NFT sales were made in the last week of August. Meanwhile, this week’s data shows that $ 821 million in NFT sales have been billed to date, which has thwarted the bill since the previous week.
Weekly statistics show that NFT sales are still on fire
Non-fungible tokens (NFTs) have become extremely popular and large numbers of NFTs are being sold for hundreds of thousands or millions of dollars in crypto. Statistics from nonfungible.com market history show that seven-day sales hit an all-time high (ATH) on August 29, 2021 with total sales of $ 1 billion across all markets and NFT collections. Data from September 1, 2021 shows sales this week fell to $ 821 million from the ATH.
Cryptopunks is the best-selling collection in the past seven days, according to the weekly NFT sales statistics from dappradar.com. The Cryptopunks project was $ 246 million in volume, up 7.32% from the previous week.
The second largest NFT collection in terms of volume is the Mutant Ape Yacht Club (MAYC) which had a trading volume of $ 210 million. A collection of NFTs called “The Loot for Adventurers” captured the third largest NFT volume this week, reaching $ 150 million in seven days.

In fourth place this week is Axie Infinity as the NFT gaming universe built on top of Ethereum recorded a weekly volume of $ 144 million. The fifth largest volume belongs to the NFT collection called Art Blocks, which also rose to $ 144 million in seven days.
According to dappradar.com, Opensea is the leading NFT marketplace in terms of 24-hour sales. The opensea marketplace recorded a volume of 179.5 million US dollars in the last 24 hours. Opensea is followed by Axie Infinity, Superrare, Tezo’s NFT market called Hic et nunc, NBA Top Shot and Rarible.
The Rarible marketplace is followed by markets such as Aavegotchi from Polygon, Atomicmarket from the Wax blockchain and the marketplace that uses the Ethereum network Foundation. During the past 24 hours, top NFT sales belong to The Loot for Adventurers NFT called Bag # 748, which sold for 250 Ether or $ 945,000. Bag # 748 NFT is followed by the Bored Ape Yacht Club # 17, which was sold for 200 Ether or $ 755K.
